Dockside Mooloolaba Booking Conditions, Cancellation and Refund Policy

  To confirm a reservation when booking with us at Dockside Mooloolaba we request that a deposit to be paid upon booking. A trust account receipt and letter of confirmation will be issued which ensures your booking is secure.

Please check all details and dates are correct and contact us immediately if there are any issues. The balance for your accommodation is payable on arrival. Whilst we will accept a cheque as a deposit, for the balance we accept only cash, credit cards & eftpos. PLEASE NOTE: Cash payments will also require a $400 refundable security deposit or a credit card imprint upon arrival. We regret we do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

Our check-in time is from 2.00pm and our check out time is by 10.00am. If you want to check in early or stay later, please ask and if at all possible, we will accommodate you. For late check outs, we need to know a day or two in advance and an additional cost may be incurred. For check out at 12 noon, the charge is $20, for check out at 2.00pm the charge is $50. After that an extra day will be charged.

Office hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 1.00pm Saturday and Sunday (Public Holiday Office Hours may vary). If you will be arriving outside these hours, please contact reception to advise your estimated time of arrival. This will enable us to make the necessary arrangements for collection of keys.

There is one car space allotted per apartment in the undercover car park, visitor parking is on a first come first served basis and cannot be guaranteed. All apartments have direct dial telephone facilities and Myport wifi. Our apartments are fully self-contained, and include all linen (except beach towels). For your convenience we have available for hire - foldaway beds, cots, highchairs and beach towels.

If for some reason you have to cancel your holiday where you have booked through our secure internet website or another booking agency, their terms and conditions will apply. Otherwise for bookings made direct with Dockside management there will be a $50 admin charge.  The balance of the deposit is refundable where at least 14 notice for low season bookings or 28 days notice for high season bookings is given. Subsequent to that time a refund is available only if the apartment can be relet for the total period of your reservation. See below for more detailed cancellation policy.

DOCKSIDE MOOLOOLABA CANCELLATION POLICY - this applies to bookings made direct with Dockside management - where a booking is made through an agent, that agent's terms and conditions will apply.

DOCKSIDE HOLIDAY UNITS  adopts the following practice for cancellation of a holiday booking. 

HIGH SEASON

  • If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival there will be a full refund less an administration fee of $50.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be NO refund unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking.  An administration fee of $50 will be deducted from the deposit held before the remainder is refunded.
MID & LOW SEASON
  • If the booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival,  there will be a full refund less an administration fee of $50.
  • If the booking is cancelled less that 14 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be NO refund unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking.  An administration fee of $50 will be deducted from the deposit before the remainder is refunded.
SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS
  • Where a booking is made less than 14 days prior to the planned arrival date,  there will be no refund unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking.  An administration fee of $50 will be deducted from the deposit held before the remainder is refunded.
CONFIRMED BOOKINGS
  • A booking that has not been confirmed by a deposit paid is not guaranteed
  • A deposit of $150 will confirm a one-week booking during low season
  • A deposit of $200 will confirm a one-week booking during mid season
  • A deposit of $500 will confirm a one-week booking in high season (balance for accommodation payable one month before arrival)
  • At all other times the balance of the tariff is due on arrival
** The administration fee covers the cost of processing bookings, receipting, banking the money, cancelling the booking from the system, drawing refund cheque,  mailing it and covering Bank Charges.

EARLY DEPARTURE
  • Once checked in, if for whatever reason a change of plans means an earlier departure there will be no refund unless and until the premises are re-let for the remaining period of the original booking. An administration fee of $50 will be deducted plus the amended rate for the booking before the balance is refunded.

No Party and Excessive Noise Policy


For the interests of our guests Dockside Mooloolaba Apartments actively enforces a "No Party and Excessive Noise" Policy

No Parties of any kind are tolerated on these premises.  Any Person(s) found to be creating excessive noise, having a party in their apartment,  or exceeding the number of permitted guests,  will be evicted without refund at the discretion of management. 

Also any subsequent damage made to an apartment or to facilities will be charged to the guest(s). 

Dockside Mooloolaba Apartments reserve the right to evict a guest and/or visitors without previous warning.

The following is a list of examples (but is not limited to this list) in which Dockside Mooloolaba Apartments may evict a guest or visitor without warning for the following:
  • Intoxication due to alcohol or illegal drugs and unsavoury behaviour.
  • Physical or verbal assault towards Staff,  Residents or other Guests.
  • Willful damage to Dockside Mooloolaba apartments property.
  • Any incident for which the police and/or security need to be called onto the premises.
  • Any behaviour posing a threat to others
  • Ignoring advice to reduce excessive noise (i.e. music or other loud noises)
  • Throwing objects from apartment balconies
  • Smoking in apartments - smoking is only allowed outside.
We aim to make your stay at Dockside Mooloolaba as pleasant as possible. Naturally any rules of behaviour are to ensure all of our guests can enjoy our beautiful location and facilities without fear of any other guests ruining your enjoyment.
